갤러리노마드 전시의 핵심적 기조는 첫째가 다양한 현대미술에 대한 꾸준한 소개, 둘째는 시대와 역사에 대한 아카이브, 셋째는 예술인들의 사회공헌사업에 대한 방법 모색 등 크게 3가지로 요약할 수 있다.
갤러리노마드는 지난 2016년 부터 현재까지 인간을 주제로한 실험적이고 전위적인 현대미술을 꾸준히 전시해 오며 개념적이고, 난해한 현대미술에 대한 대중들의 이해와 인식의 지평을 넓히는 일을 지속적으로 하였고 예술의 영역에서 나날이 중요하게 평가받고 있는
아카이브에 대해 첫 시도를 해 호응을 얻기도 했다. 다큐멘터리 사진을 통해 북한에 대한 새로운 인식을 갖게 하고, 우리 현대사에서 가장 중요한 지점에 있는 1948년 10월 19일에 우리 지역에서 발발한 여순사건에 대한 아카이브전시와 도록 발간을 통해
왜곡된 역사 바로 잡기와 더불어 다양한 역사 해석에 대한 논쟁을 촉발시키는 역할을 해왔다. 이와 함께 국내 최초 한센인 회복자 정착촌 내의 청소년오케스트라에 대한 지역 미술인들의 자선 전시를 이끌어냄으로써 예술인들의 사회공헌 사업을 처음으로 성공적으로 펼쳐 새로운 기부 문화 확산에 노력해왔다.
이 같은 활동은 갤러리 자체 행사에만 머물지 않고 기획 단계에서부터 지역 언론과 충분한 교감을 통해 전시 의미와 성과가 지역사회에 확산될 수 있도록 해 전시 홍보 마케팅에서도 많은 성과를 낼 수 있었다. 갤러리노마드는 지역작가를 포함한 다양한 국내외 작가들의 작품을 전시하여 시민들의 심미적 감성능력을 향상시키고 현대 미술에 대해

The core stance of the Gallery Nomad exhibition can be summarized into three broad categories: first, a steady introduction on various contemporary art, second, an archive of the times and history, and third, seeking methods for artists' social contribution projects. Gallery Nomad has been constantly exhibiting experimental and avant-garde contemporary art on the subject of humans from 2016 to the present, continuing to expand the horizons of public understanding and perception of conceptual and esoteric contemporary art, and the first attempt to form archive, which is being evaluated as important day by day, was highly commended. By using documentary photographs to raise new awareness
of North Korea, holding an exhibition, and publishing a catalog of the Yeosun Incident that occurred in our region on October 19, 1948, which is the most important point in our modern history, it has played a role to correct distorted history and to spark debate over interpreting in a variety of ways. Along with this, we have been trying to spread a new donation culture by successfully launching a social contribution project, which was conducted as a charity exhibition of local artists for the youth orchestra in the first Korean Hansen people settlement. Such activities were not limited to the gallery's own events, but from the planning stage, through sufficient communication with the local media, the meaning and results of the exhibition could be spread to the local community, resulting in many successful outcomes in exhibition promotion marketing. Gallery Nomad is planning to exhibit the works of various domestic and foreign artists, including local artists, to enhance the aesthetic sensibility of citizens, provide opportunities to explore and discuss contemporary art, form a network between domestic and international artists, and establish a cultural art platform to promote the excellence of local art. At the same time, we are aiming to continue the flow of contemporary art.
